Scott's View: 9/11: Remembering Those We Lost. Honoring Those Who Protect.

It is hard to believe that twelve years ago this week our nation faced terror on our homeland. Many times it feels like yesterday, other times it feels like long ago. Either way, we must always remember the events that occurred.

We must continue to remember those we lost and honor those who continue to protect our nation. New York City's One World Trade Center – formerly called the Freedom Tower – symbolically stands at 1776 feet over Ground Zero, to express the American spirit and resolve in the face of the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2001.

It is the daily mission of Veterans Advantage to honor service and sacrifice, but today makes that mission even more poignant. Our hearts go out to all those whose lives changed dramatically on that terrible day twelve years ago, and we thank all those who continue to protect our country today.
