Alaska Airlines & Veterans Advantage Create New 15% OFF Savings in September

Alaska + WeSalute (Veterans Advantage)

Alaska Airlines & Veterans Advantage have announced an exclusive 15% OFF fare sale for all VetRewards subscribers from September 1-21. The discount is good on all Alaska Airlines flights and all classes of service without blackout dates.

The discount is valid for travel on Alaska Airlines to more than 115 destinations in the United States, including Hawaii, Mexico & Costa Rica and across all classes of service. And, as they have been doing since the launch of the partnership over 2 years ago, VetRewards card holders may also enroll in the Alaska Mileage PlanTM, Alaska’s award-winning rewards program for loyal fliers. This allows them to earn points and extra perks combined with their discounted travel.

“In this era of COVID-19, we all are looking to take a break, and Alaska is doing its part with a deep discount,” said Scott Higgins, co-Founder and co-CEO of Veterans Advantage, PBC. “During this time of national need, we salute Alaska Airlines for recognizing those who have helped protect our nation through good times and challenging times with this special offer.”

Active duty & retired military, veterans, National Guard & Reserve, military academy students, and their family members all qualify for this offer, and hundreds more, at VeteransAdvantage.com.

Cover Story: How & Why WeSalute Was Founded 25 Years Ago

WeSalute founders Scott and Lin Higgins have spent a lifetime in the military community, from Scott’s combat service in Vietnam and the service of Lin’s father in WWII, to serving families and veterans through the creation of memorials and parades as part of charitable and government initiatives. It was this lifetime of service that led them to establish WeSalute, originally founded as Veterans Advantage, and to continue giving back.
