Scott's View: Field Report & Review - Veterans Advantage Member Saves Nearly $1,000 in One Year

Dollar Car Rental

One of the best things about coming to work each day is the opportunity to communicate with vets around the country. I was pleased to hear from a member who just renewed, Colonel Glenn Goddard.

The author of the "Military Frequent Flyer" blog, very popular with military and veterans traveling, Army Colonel Goddard decided to give us a test drive last spring, and report his dollar-by-dollar savings on his blog. A recent posting tallied his year-to-date savings of $783. We later discovered the Dollar Rent A Car savings in his report amounted to $175 more in savings for a family member who was an underage driver utilizing the Veterans Advantage/Dollar Rent A Car benefit – bringing his one-year savings to nearly $1,000! (BTW, this did not include our exclusive benefits of Global MedEVac and AD&D insurance, the prescription discount drug program, customized financial planning, and concierge service, all of which are included in membership, worth $800, if purchased independently).

We appreciate the objectivity and detailed nature of Colonel Goddard's reporting on the savings generated through Veterans Advantage partners in the normal course of his purchases. I had the opportunity to give him an interview last year. He's a true professional.

Colonel Goddard said he will be updating his readers using our latest benefits. Stay tuned!
