Greyhound Lines, our nation's leader in intercity bus transportation, is proud to honor America's Veterans and their families with a special 15% OFF walkup fare.

U.S. Veterans, active duty military, Guard & Reserve and their "next of kin" family members who are Veterans Advantage Card members are eligible for these special Greyhound discounts.

Intercity bus, like Greyhound, is the safest mode of transportation over cars, trucks, trains, planes and other commercial vehicles, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Greyhound serves more than 3,100 destinations with 16,000 daily departures across the country.

Veterans Advantage Cards have an encoded magnetic-strip on back that can be presented at Greyhound ticket counters for the 15% walk-up fare discount.

Veterans Advantage members also receive a special Travel Discount Code that can be entered online for the 15% discount at www.greyhound.com.

In cities like Cincinnati, St. Paul, St. Louis and others, Greyhound offers connections to Amtrak. Veterans Advantage members wishing to travel on both these services should purchase a ticket for the bus connection directly from Greyhound and not in conjunction with the purchase of their Amtrak rail ticket to be eligible for discounts on both fares.
