I'm Scott Higgins and the founder of Veterans Advantage.
Please take a moment to read this letter, so you may
understand our mission at Veterans Advantage, and the
important work we seek to do.
Veterans
Advantage is a nationwide program open to all who serve.
We deliver benefits as a thank you for their service
to U.S. Veterans, Active Duty, Reservists and National
Guardsmen, and their families. You are eligible for
benefits if you have served during any period, peace
or wartime, in any branch of military service, or the
National Guard or Reserve, and if you have received
a discharge, other than dishonorable.
Veterans
Advantage partners with corporations who would like
to provide a benefit to thank those who serve, but want
Veterans Advantage to administrate the delivery of the
benefit. We provide our members a Veterans Advantage
Card for identification, so our partners can easily
recognize them as eligible to receive these benefits.
For
instance, Veterans Advantage is Amtrak's exclusive
partner in delivering special offers to Veterans--savings program now only for our members.
We
also believe that when someone serves their country,
their family also serves and sacrifices, so, whenever
possible, the benefits we obtain from our partners are
extended to include Veteran's families. In particular,
all Veterans and families are eligible for our
prescription drug benefit program.

We Are Here to Serve You
I
have been volunteering in the Veterans area since 1968
when I returned from Vietnam. You may read about my
background under Staff Bios in the 'About
US' section at www.veteransadvantage.com. My
experience working with various Veterans initiatives
taught me we could never do enough for our nation's
Veterans to thank them for their service. VeteransAdvantage
is a program trying to do just that: to honor and thank
all who serve by delivering new benefits from corporations.
