On This Veterans Day, Wounded Warrior Project is proud to announce a new partnership with Veterans Advantage, a nationally recognized membership program that provides discounts, savings and benefits to veterans, Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve and their families. Through this partnership WWP will proudly provide its wounded warriors with free memberships in Veterans Advantage.

"We are honored to extend membership to those warriors who have given so much in support of this nation," stated H. Scott Higgins, Founder and CEO of Veterans Advantage. "We hope our program will provide them and their families with important financial and consumer benefits as they enter and successfully readjust to civilian life."

Wounded warriors receiving memberships in Veterans Advantage are eligible for significant discounts on items including but not limited to airline tickets, hotel rooms, tax services, food and clothing and much more. Travel and accident insurance and discounts on prescription drugs are also included with membership.

WWP is adding this tangible and money saving benefits package to its already existing cadre of programs and services designed to ease the transition of our nation’s wounded warriors from military to civilian life. They believe that, especially in today’s economic climate, the corporate discounts and services that Veterans Advantage membership provides will allow WWP Alumni to save more of their valuable income as they move on with their civilian lives.

"As part of our mission to honor and empower wounded warriors, we are proud to partner with Veterans Advantage," said Wounded Warrior Project Founder and Executive Director John Melia. "The men and women of our armed forces who are coming back with life-altering injuries have given so much and with the generosity of companies like Veterans Advantage, we can work towards paying them back."
