Would You Like To Nominate A HeroVet?

A Veteran nominated for HeroVet status must exemplify the honor and value of service. Please submit a biographical profile of the Veteran you wish to nominate*. Include with your submission description of your relationship to the Veteran and all contact information.

The HeroVet’s biographical profile should cover the following:
  • A description of the HeroVet’s military service, including branch and period of service, and rank.
  • The reason(s) the HeroVet served the country, i.e., military school, ROTC, enlisted, drafted, parent served, etc.
  • Any significant experiences or lessons learned through their military service.
  • What the HeroVet has done to continue to serve or lead after leaving military service.
  • Why the HeroVet has continued to serve the country, the public, in their communities, or other veterans after leaving military service.
  • What greater good or contribution the HeroVet has provided to society or their community through their continued service or leadership.
