Birdies for the Brave® Honors Veterans Advantage Members with Ticket Discounts
Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (February 6, 2012) – Birdies for the Brave and Veterans Advantage today announced that Veterans Advantage Card members are now eligible for discounted tickets to select PGA TOUR and Champions Tour events during the 2012 season.
Beginning with World Golf Championships–Accenture Match Play Championship in Marana, Ariz., Veterans Advantage members can access these special ticket offerings via the Veterans Advantage website.

The ticketing program to honor veterans and their families will be administered through Birdies for the Brave. Active duty, retired, and Reserve military are all offered complimentary admission at many PGA TOUR events in addition to the discounted ticketing for veterans and their dependents now available through Veterans Advantage. A PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. program, Birdies for the Brave was originally created in 2005 by PGA TOUR player Phil Mickelson and his wife, Amy, to support combat-wounded veterans. In 2006, the PGA TOUR adopted the program, and expanded it to include a wide variety of military outreach efforts, including complimentary admission for military members and their families during most PGA TOUR events; Military Appreciation Day celebrations, integration opportunities for wounded warriors, care package assembly stations, and complimentary military hospitality chalet.
