James W. Jarrett

Intel

As Vice President, Legal, and Director of Worldwide Government Affairs, James W. Jarrett is responsible for Intel’s relationships with governments across the globe. Before assuming his current position, he was President of Intel China for four years.

Mr. Jarrett joined Intel in 1979 as the company’s first manager of corporate communications. Over the next decade, he built a group responsible for the company’s relationships with the news media, investors, governments, employees, and customers.

In China, Mr. Jarrett served as a Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce, as a board member of the U.S. Information Technology Office, and as Chairman of the China Chapter of the Semiconductor Industry Association.

Before joining Intel, Mr. Jarrett saw service with the Army at the United States Military Academy in West Point. A 1966 graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, he received his undergraduate degree in history.

Dance about Vietnam War Gets Washington Post Coverage

I was pleased to see the Washington Post reviewed Into Sunlight, the dance based on the book by David Maraniss, the Pulitzer-prize winning journalist. It is a special look at a series of events surrounding the Vietnam War, and we have been honored to sponsor this very important work of art, and host Veterans Advantage Members to see the production in New York City and Washington DC.
