For instance, you are eligible for 15% OFF your rail fare portion, even when you upgrade to first class, business or sleeper and pay the full accommodation charge (accommodation charges are not discounted).

The Veterans Advantage 15% Amtrak discount is available every day of the year with NO BLACKOUT PERIODS. Book online at www.amtrak.com, or call Amtrak at 1-877-872-7245 to travel now or reserve for future travel.

Note: Family members are not eligible for this discount, only the Veteran; a three-day advance reservation requirement applies to Veterans Advantage / Amtrak discounted travel.

Amtrak has added two additional trains as eligible for the Veterans Advantage 15% Everyday Savings. Veterans can now get 15% OFF the rail fare on Acela Express high-speed rail travel and travel on Metroliners in the Northeast corridor during weekends (Sat. & Sun. only.) As before, Acela Regional trains are eligible for 15% Everyday savings every day of the week with no blackout days. Please note: Acela Express has business and first class seating, however, only business class accommodations are eligible for this discount.

3. Amtrak Guest Rewards Combination Offer
