HeroVet Joe Grano: Vietnam Veteran Inspires in Post-9/11 Era
Thursday, September 9th, 20103:07 pm
Our HeroVet this month, Joseph J. Grano, Jr. is a decorated war hero. Gravely wounded in Vietnam, Joe Grano bravely and successfully fought to save his badly damaged limbs. From humble origins and without a college education, after his service he rose to the very top of Wall Street. But most importantly, it was his work as the Chairman of President Bush’s Homeland Security Advisory Council that helped get our nation back on its economic feet after 9/11.
Lin, Roy, Peter and I had a great time getting to know Joe over coffee at his New York office this week. We at Veterans Advantage salute Joe Grano for his military service and continued contributions to America. He is a true patriot!

Joseph J. Grano Jr. receives “HeroVet Award”
from Veterans Advantage Founder and CEO Scott Higgins.
