What do you do with the information I submit to
show eligibility for the program?
A:
The only information printed on your card is your
name and branch of service. All other information
is kept confidential and used only to verify your
service record. We do not sell lists or disclose
personal information to third parties.
Q:
Can I use the program benefits right away?
A:
Your online application is processed immediately
and you will receive a confirmation and "temporary" card
in your browser window with your Veterans Advantage
member number (letters followed by digits) to use
until your membership card is sent in the mail. Within
minutes, you will also receive an email with additional
program information and a link to the picture of
your temporary card, so you can use the program benefits
right away. For the Veteran Card member the browser
and email information will include your 10 digit
Travel Discount Code, and you can get on
a train today! Please note that the prescription
benefit is not available immediately. You must wait
to receive your prescription drug card in the mail.
Q:
When will I receive my Membership ID card?
A:
Your new member ID will be mailed within four weeks
of submitting your application, after verification
of your service information. Veterans Advantage reserves
to request additional information or deny membership
based on the information provided. Along with your
ID card you will receive a New Member Kit that will
explain the Veterans Advantage program benefits and
services.

When will I receive the free the Veterans Advantage
online newsletter?
A:
The Veterans Advantage member benefits newsletter is
a weekly publication (sent by email twice a month).
It contains information on new and existing program
benefits plus content of interest to Veterans and their
families, as well as critical information on managing
your account access to these benefits. So its key you
supply us an email address to receive this publication,
and you may opt out at any time.

How do I find out about my benefits online and
any special codes that are required?
A:
When enrolling you must select a password to use
for entry into our Members Only area of our web site
at www.veteransadvantage.com From the homepage, select "Members
Only" at the top of the page. You will be prompted
to enter your VA Member ID and your password. You
may then enter and enjoy the savings!
